    Durham University’s Centre for Catholic Studies, in partnership with the Franciscans Families of the UK and Ireland, are delighted to be hosting the forthcoming international conference:

     

    The Franciscan Legacy from the 13th Century to the 21st

    Assessing the Continuing Significance of St Francis and Franciscan Traditions of Theology, Spirituality, and Action

    A Conference in Honour of the 800th Anniversary of St Francis’ Meeting

    with Sultan Malek Al-Kamil.

    The standard conference package including registration, refreshments, and conference meals is £150.  Student packages and partial packages are available.  Details of accommodation options are available on the website.  Complimentary transport between Durham City and Ushaw College is provided.

     

    Unwaged/Low-waged Concessionary Places:

    Up to 20 concessionary places are available for unwaged/low-waged/students not giving short papers. These places will include the conference fee and refreshments. Recipients will be responsible for their own accommodation, travel and conference meals (if required). Application form.
