Ushaw’s Library forms part of the Durham Residential Research Library, a project led by Durham University in partnership with Ushaw and Durham Cathedral and the only one of its kind in the UK. While at Ushaw on Days 2 and 3, delegates will be offered the opportunity to see some of the many treasures in the Library collection, which contains around 30,000 early printed books and a major collection of archives and manuscripts, some of which formed part of the medieval monastic library of Durham Priory. On the final day of the Conference (Friday 13 September) there will be an opportunity for delegates to view some of the collections based at Durham Cathedral and Durham University.
