The College Theology Society holds its fifty-seventh annual convention from June 2-5, 2011 at Iona College, in New Rochelle, New York. The theme will be They Shall Be Called Children of God: Violence, Transformation, and the Sacred. Our colleagues in the Religious Studies Department at Iona College will serve as the local coordinating team, chaired by Elena ProcarioFoley. Tobias Winright of Saint Louis University and Margaret Pfeil of the University of Notre Dame are co-editors for the annual volume.

Scholars who are invited to present their work at a national convention of the College Theology Society must hold membership in the Society when their work is presented. No person may submit more than one proposal for consideration nor may submissions to multiple sections be considered.

The Call for Papers will be posted to the website and emailed to active members on October 1, 2010. The program for the annual meeting with housing and transportation information will be posted on the CTS Website in early Spring 2011. The National Association of Baptist Professors of Religion will once again be joining us this year.
