In keeping with the Convention theme of "Religion, Economics, and Culture in Conflict and Conversation," the Psychology and Religion Section invites paper proposals that employ psychological theory or research to explore religious themes or dimensions in either of two forms of poverty: traumatic or voluntary. By "traumatic" we have in mind any non-voluntary poverty which impacts individual or communal well-being.
Proposals are also invited in any area of the interrelation between theology and psychology, whether practical, pastoral or theoretical. Papers addressing the theological and/or psychological implications of economics and culture are particularly welcome.
