The 2010 conference theme embraces religion, economics, and culture, with a particular emphasis on "theological engagement with the inter-related components of globalization." In the New Pedagogies and The Spirituality of Learning section, it seems particularly pertinent to focus on the ways in which media, learning networks, and software/hardware components (potentially coupled with the international dimensions of immersion and service-learning experiences) impact pedagogical practice and theological reflection in 21st century academic circles. Individual items need not be directly concerned with international outcomes; however, explorations of the implications of current/developing programs and educational praxis on the future of pedagogy and the spirituality of learning on a global scale are enthusiastically encouraged.
