This section welcomes all papers examining religions' interactions with literature and art (visual, musical, and performing). We are especially interested in receiving proposals for papers dealing with religion, art or literature, and the conference theme of "Religion, Economics, and Culture in Conflict and Conversation." Topics could include religious analysis of works of art or literature that deal with economic issues (especially global ones), Marxist-theological analysis of art or literature, religious art as a commodity, the economics of producing religious art, or artisanship as a religious vocation. Please include any A/V requests with your proposal.
